Double Patty Burger

Double Patty Burger is built for proper hunger and indulgent mood days.
Ingredients
- 400 g Buff mince, about 20% fat
- 2 Burger buns
- 4 Cheese slices
- 1 Onion, thinly sliced
- 4 Lettuce leaves
- 1 Tomato, sliced
- 8 slices Pickled cucumber, sliced
- 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 tbsp Butter, for the buns
- to taste Salt and black pepper
Steps
- Makes 2 double burgers. Stir the mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard together for the burger sauce.
- Divide the mince into four 100 g balls and handle them as little as possible; working the meat makes the patties bouncy.
- Get a heavy pan or griddle ripping hot with no oil.
- Set a ball down, smash it flat with a spatula for 10 seconds, and season the top with salt and pepper.
- Sear 2 minutes until a dark crust forms, flip, lay a cheese slice on each, and cook 1 minute more.
- Toast the buttered buns cut-side down in the rendered fat.
- Stack two cheesed patties per bun with sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles, and eat straight away.
