Cheese Sandwich

Cheese Sandwich is a mild easy option for breakfast, café visits, or light hunger.
Ingredients
- 4 slices Sandwich bread
- 100 g Cheddar or processed cheese, sliced
- 2 tbsp Butter, softened
- 1 Tomato, thinly sliced
- 1/2 Cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp each Oregano and chili flakes
- to taste Salt and black pepper
Steps
- Makes 2 cold sandwiches. Salt the tomato and cucumber slices for 5 minutes, then pat them dry so the bread stays firm.
- Butter all four slices to the very edge.
- Lay the cheese over two of the slices in an even layer that reaches the crusts, so every bite has some.
- Add the dried tomato and cucumber, then season with salt, pepper, oregano and chili flakes.
- Close, press lightly, and cut in half. Serve it cold as it is; the griddled version is a different sandwich.
